Get much more information from La’o Hamutuk’s OilWeb CD-ROM
OilWeb includes material on Timor-Leste's petroleum resources, the history of exploration and development, data on the Australia-Timor-Leste maritime boundary dispute, the "resource curse", ecological effects, bidding and licensing rounds, transparency and accountability, petroleum and budgetary economics, and oil companies operating in Timor-Leste. OilWeb also contains complete information and commentary on the enactment and implementation of Timor-Leste's petroleum regime and Petroleum Fund. OilWeb focuses on Timor-Leste-specific issues, but also contains background papers and analysis on global issues or other countries. Most of the material is in English and accessible to the non-expert reader. Some is in Bahasa Indonesia or Tetum, and some articles are written for people knowledgeable in legal or technical issues. OilWeb is updated every few months. Version 4.0 was released early in 2008, and there may be a more recent one available. OilWeb is available from our office in Dili and a few international distributors: US$2 for campaigners, $50 for institutions. Click on the picture to order. |
